Joan Noone
Joan Noone Clinic Manager
Joan is the co-owner and manager of the Small Street Clinic. Joan graduated from Nursing at St.Vincent’s Hospital Dublin in 1981 and went on to qualify as a Midwife from Holles St Maternity Hospital in Dublin in 1983. She moved to Melbourne where she practiced Nursing at St. Vincents Private Hospital, Melbourne. She moved her family back to Dublin in 1989, and studied and graduated as an Acupuncturist in 1992 from the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland. She then practised acupuncture in Dublin from 1992-1999, with special interests in the role of acupuncture in the management of sports injuries and women’s health.
Joan and her family moved back to Melbourne in 1999, and she established, along with her partner Paul Noone, the Small Street Clinic in 2012. Although she has retired from hands-on clinical practice, Joan has been the “face” of Small Street Clinic since its inception, assisting clients of the clinic by combining her clinical experience as a Nurse and Acupuncturist with the invaluable knowledge gained from raising six wonderful children.
Joan has a keen interest in art, architecture, and real estate. However, her time commitments to these have been railroaded by her passion for golf.
